Have you ever thought about setting up networks on your computers at home? If you have a small collection of computers around the house (and a small collection of computer users), you can connect each of these computers to each other and share data, software and hardware, including a single Internet connection. There are many creative uses for home networks, but it is an ideal situation when updating each team to the same capacity is financially out of the question. In a home network, each computer has access to the team of the best machine in the group as if this equipment was yours.

Connecting computers with an Ethernet cable or a wireless connection can create a home network. The easiest and cheapest method uses an Ethernet connection, which requires a number of network adapters, a cable for each computer, and a router. The NIC is similar to the old modems we used in the past to connect to the Internet, but in a home network is used to communicate with each computer that is connected to it.

Connected to the network, each computer can send files back and forth, open programs on a remote computer, play audio and video files located on another computer, and share a single Internet account to surf the web, download files, or chat with Someone in a completely different country. If there is only one printer available on a single computer on the network, each connected PC can send documents and print them. The children will enjoy the opportunity to play multi-player games and the adults enjoy the opportunity to blow a single message to all at once or maintain a group schedule.

Since we are describing a home network that will connect to the Internet, it is strongly recommended to install a firewall protection program to counteract Internet viruses, worms or other malicious spy codes. Firewalls prevent-but do not repair. Only antivirus and anti-spyware programs can reverse the damage. Therefore, you must install a firewall on the computer that grants access to the computer, and then install an anti-virus and antispyware program on each of the remaining computers on the network.

If you have files that should not be shared (bank statements, credit card information, etc.), you can restrict your access in several ways. You can place them in a new folder, and then delete the "Read " permissions for that folder. Or you can specify who can (and who can't) access specific files with a password in the Windows Control Panel.
